Okay, for anyone who is having the same issue as I....Ive been pulling my hair out trying to figure out what is happening and I think I have it fixed for me. I will apologize to anyone who thinks this is common knowledge, but it is not for me. And P.S. and if it is common knowledge, no one let me know...
In order for me to be able to test anything in LC, it obviously needs to see where your location of the developer root folder for IOS 5.0 and above is right? Well, since I am on an iMac, I had been going back to where my developer folder was located, which was in the MacintoshHD/library/Developer....where it has always been. But nothing was happening and I was getting the usual error of "need location of SDK's that shipped with Xcode 4.2 blah blah blah". Just for the hell of it, I copied the Xcode package installer to my applications list, and then went into "preferences" in LC mobile support and pointed my "Location of developer root for IOS 5.0" to the Xcode package listed in "Applications". As soon as I did that, I was able to test my apps in LC once again....Now granted, I just did this and popped over to the forum with excitement to let everyone know, so I haven't really tested this to see if the full range of testing options are working, but I am further than I was a week ago....good luck and let me know how it works for you...
UPDATE: Another interesting thing I have noticed since upgrading is when I go into the standalone application settings, my IOS deployment section shows that I need to buy the deployment add-on and "This is just a trial" is showing....When i look at my account on REV, it shows I have purchased that deployment add-on....strange....
