If you look on the store, the only solution wich include an 'upgrade policy' is the 'LiveCode X.Y Complete' ...gayasoft wrote:LiveCode once used to be 'buy and get 1 year of free updates', that was up to RunRev 4.0
Since its called LiveCode, aka RunRev 4.5, that part got cut for anything but complete yet the update policy still is missing from the store no matter how long you search for it although it would by contract need to be available prior purchase at latest.
... omissis ...
That's not the point. You pay for a product, you should expect to receive bug fixes and non-point versions (5.0, 6.0, 7.0, etc) included.Mark wrote:Hi,
You don't need to pay twice a year for an update. If you want to make software for e.g. Windows and Android, then you can pay 338 euro for an update this year and update again in two years, if you think it is worth the money. That way, it costs you only 169 euro per year.

I've been deploying to Android since it was first supported, so there must be something else going on. These forums would be a good place to ask about any issues you're having. I have a commercial Android product, built with 5.0.2, in both the Amazon App Store and the Android Market. So far there have been no reports of problems from any of my customers. It was tested on phones and tablets both.karmacomposer wrote: I have attempted to deploy to android - no go - does not work for me at all on phones and tablets. The best I have been able to deploy properly is a hello world example and a simple form with a button - nothing else.
If they allowed people to keep using time-limited trials indefinitely, what would be the incentive to buy?Mark wrote:I still think they should allow me to download as many trial versions as I need to convince myself that the product is good enough to buy.
