Hi,
I'm thinking of continuing with my livecode project away from my desktop computer. I tried copying the project on to a usb stick but it would not run. I tried to install Livecode on to the usb stick but then discovered that the installation is set for the "C\" drive. Is there any way to install it onto a data stick ?

Install it to the C drive and then copy it to the USB drive? The preference file will still be created in the C drive, unless you feel like hacking the IDE to use another location (not sure if you still have access to the IDE code in versions after the Community edition)

Hi,
Thanks for that, I copied everything to the e druve and it worked. Then used File>Save to e drive, no problem.
Again, many thanks.
