No inspector in v9?

I was fooling around with v9 RC1, and noticed that the the custom property pane in the inspector would only show the first line of any assigned custom property.

So I went to QCC and noticed that this had already been reported (10519). But the last comment by Hanson states that

the IDE Property Inspector was an experimental feature that was dropped from the product.

So. Anyone know what this might mean?

Since as you've seen v9 includes a Property Inspector, clearly Fraser forgot a word or two there. I'm not sure what he meant, but IIRC another report Jacque filed was for the PI to become resizable to allow more visible lines, so it's not that.
