Editor inside stack

I am Beginner in Livecode, Is there any option to open editor (gedit) inside stack.

Hi Kevin,

sorry, I'm afraid you cannot "open" an external application inside of a Livecode stack!

What exactly are you trying to do?
Maybe we can find a workaround or another solution.

Thanks for your quick response.

My requirement is to do SyncTeX.

if i click in my source file (tex) it will jump to the equivalent place in the PDF or click in the PDF and it will jump to the appropriate place in your source document.

Hi Kevin,

oh, I see...

But since Livecode cannot even display PDF files currently,
I think there is no workaround in Livecode for what you have in mind.
