Mac answer dialog bug ?

Post by pderks » Sat May 30, 2015 1:55 am

I still use LiveCode 5.5 on a Mac Pro 2010 under OSX Yosemite, because in all newer LC versions - even in LC 7.0.5 - I can't click and dismiss an answer dialog (modal or sheet doesn't matter), without dragging its window for some pixels.

I wonder why I can't find a thread about this phenomenon and ask the community for 'enlightenment'.

Hi Peter

MacMini with OS X Yosemite, LC 6.7.5 and 7.05 and no problems with any dialog!
So no brilliant idea, sorry...

Best

I've never seen this either, or read any reports of it. Do you have any special mouse driver extension installed?

Hi,

it seems that I have encountered a Mac bug.

I use 3 monitors; until yesterday, the left one was the start monitor, and I got the depicted phenomenon at the mid screen.
Since today, the mid one is the start monitor and I use "different spaces" (Mission Control).

The answer dialog works as expected now.

Thank you, Jacque and Klaus …

Peter
