Question about password

Hello everyone:
I just trying to create the password box but got some issues are listed below:
a. i got some problem to create the text file in my laptop which is used to take note of the password you have register.
b. when compare the password, it always show wrong, i notice because the password letter i hidden, which always cause not the same.
c.how to use the home button function of iPhone to exit to main screen when the password is empty?

Any one got ideas? Thanks.

a. & b.:
Well, "doesnt work" is not an error descriuption we can work with, so please supply some more detailed info!

HOW are you asking the user for the password?
WHATand WHERE did you try to save the password so far?
HOW did you compare the passwords?
Please post your scripts or at least the relevant parts!

c.
I am afraid pressing the (hardware) home button in the iPhone will always simply quit your app!
