Two intermittent bugs.

I have two problems which have alternated working and failing without any apparent changes on my part.

First:

For the first several months I owned Revolution it correctly created the paths for my files when I was building a standalone application. Then for no apparent reason it just started piling everything into the root application folder and failed to create my sub-folders. I went back to a previous version of my application that I know worked successfully in the past and Revolution failed again.

Second:

I was having problems recording audio, no matter what I did Revolution would not record properly. Then it suddenly started working when I put in a minor change in code (in retrospect the code I wrote was junk, it shouldn't do ANYTHING at all). I thought I'd fixed the problem but now it's failing in the same way again. Again I went back to a previous version of my program that I KNOW was working and it would not record. I also tried building both the new and the old version that was working, both failed. I've also tested the record function in Quicktime and it works fine. Skype also has no problems with my microphone and a friend who was doing some beta testing for me and had audio working when I had it working now says it fails on her system now too.
