Reading RTF file

Hi All

How do I load a RTF file into a field without the control characters showing. I've tried using

Code: Select all

put url("binfile:" & tMessageTitle) into field "MessageText"

and

Code: Select all

put url("file:" & tMessageTitle) into field "MessageText"

put url("binfile:" & tMessageTitle) into myFile
set the rtftext of fld "MessageText" to myFile
