Is there a coordinate conversion library?

Does anyone know of a library or plugin that will allow the conversion of position in latitude and longitude to OS GB 36 map references ?

There are some 3rd party sites you can post/parse results. I found a site with an API you can sign up for a key http://www.nearby.org.uk/api/key-signup.html which may be best
