NFC & RFID on Android

Hi all

Having done some research it looks like LiveCode can't access NFC on Android devices - pity

If I'm wrong and someone has developed a way to do this, please tell us about it!

It can be emulated with GPS and a server.

If you mean the kind of thing I think you mean - then that won't work for the scenario I have in mind where an Android device could 'read' an RFID tag via NFC by waving the device over the tag within a range of 50mm - it's the local communication between the tag and the device I'm interested in...

Right, that won't work. I was thinking about two devices, not a tag and a device.
