Thanks, Richard!
Indeed it is ... a Muybridge horse.
I have to give credit to my son Todd for doing most of the programming.

Jim

Congratulations! Hope you get a lot of downloads. An in app (IAP) purchase might be perfect for this type of app. You would have a purchase button within the lite version that unlocks the full features. The advantage is people don't have to download the deluxe version and are more likely to buy perhaps after getting a look at the freebie, and for you, well you only have 1 app to deal with, upgrade, etc. If your son is interested tell him I just blazed trail on this one and posted all the do's and don'ts in this forum.
I have just that scenario working well in my current project.

Cool. Well if you do decide to go the IAP route be sure to check my posts. If you follow the documents Apple put out or just the run RunRev example you will be 5 hours into it and pulling your hair out. At least for a new submission. Putting IAP into a revision of an already approved App may be a little easier.
I liked your App. I like the graphics and the ruddy font. I think that font for the info section is a little hard to read though but I understand aesthetically speaking sticking with the same font was the call.
If you want to see my apps that I have in the store check these links.
http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/cool-cal ... ?ls=1&mt=8
and
http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/cool-fir ... ?ls=1&mt=8
My latest coming out very soon with an in app purchase button collecting the cash and unlocking the premium features.
Dave
PS. There are two types of IAP's. One is consumable (like if you were going to buy chips to play poker, or time on a subscription, or songs, etc. The other is non consumable where you unlock features in your app. For you you could do a workout log, a calorie counter, or show a list of exercise types for say chest and tri's or back, legs whatever. You could consider having a purchase button to charge 99 cents to unlock each feature separately. Once you have a dedicated user and a good product why wouldn't that user want to just do it all from within one app? Your app !!!!

Hey Dave,
Thanks much for your suggestions.
I looked at your calendar app and decided to buy. I like the modifiable interface and the simplicity. Your 2-minute video is very helpful for a new user to get up to speed. I now have all my appoints entered through Sept. Wrote a review recommending it.
Best,
Jim L.

Thanks James,
Check out the software tools and backgrounds that tactile media.com offers. The different backgrounds that are available in the Cool Cal were purchased through TM. I recently purchased their "Guages" stack as well $99. TM has great art work on backgrounds, panels, sliders, and buttons (except technically everything is a group.) Also Nav bars and Tool bars that snap into place and resize, etc much like MogGui but better I think. (I own both). I am using the snot out of the IOS "Laser" motif and realy like it. Worth the $119 or whatever it is. A huge time saver! Thanks for the support!

Hey Dave,
We just updated our app with one of the externals, mergPop, from the mergExt externals suite. It was an elegant and easy solution. Monte was very fast in support when we had questions. We're looking forward to using mergTweet and mergAccessory. Have you tried any of these externals?

Re: (OT) Our 1st App Released, Flat Out Fitness
Yes I needed to use one of monte's externals to set the "do not back up" attribute to a few folders were my users store PDF maps they upload via iTunes. It worked great. I was looking over the others he has made and was pretty impressed. Good product for a good price.
If you want to check out my latest app it's a free download with enough functionality to let you see the app work. There is a in-app purchase button that unlocks all the features that I set at $19.95.
Yesterday 20 downloads but no buyers. I may have to titrate price to effect. =] Check it out if you want. You can see Tactile medias button and table objects in use.

Nice work Dave. Let me know if you want to do a mini case study for mergext.com free publicity and a free month access
