Exporting for standalone use

Post by ds_tx » Tue Aug 14, 2007 1:50 pm

I have Dan Schafer's book but still cannot find how to export for standalone use from Revolution Studio.
I want to be able to copy a file to my flashdrive and test it on the computer at the college where I will be giving my lecture.
I'm told that anything that can run on the computer from a CD/DVD rom or flash drive can be projected to the lecture screen.
I cannot use a .rev file as RevStudio is not installed on the college's PC.
If I bundle RevPlayer with my file, will it run from the flash drive without installing any files on the college's hard drive?
Or is there a way to export a standalone ap that will run entirely on it's own?

Hi,

if you run Studio or higher you want to build a standalone application.

Check File->Standalone Application settings

and
file->Save as standalone apllication

ATB,
