LiveCode 4.6 upgrade options for web and server

I post this in the Complete Beginners section because the answer might be obvious - although I have no idea of what it can be.

A few months ago, I bought a commercial license for LiveCode and add-ons for web, iOS and server. Now that the 4.6 update is out, I see there are paying upgrades for each of these add-ons - although the only one that is mentioned in the "what's new" infos is iOS.

So... sorry for what could be a very noob question, but what is the point of upgrading these add-ons, and especially the server ?
