Why is there no forum dedicated to the web platform?
I have found it very difficult to find good information specifically related to web deployments and associated issues. It just seems strange that there is a forum for IOS, but not the web. Is the web no longer an active platform? Version 4.5 of the plugin doesn't seem to be much of a topic of discussion.

Re: Forum for Web platform
while this is a great forum, there is a very good user list as well. You might find it useful to search the relatively new user list at
http://www.mail-archive.com/use-livecod ... index.html
and the older more comprehensive one at
http://www.mail-archive.com/use-revolut ... index.html
there is a lot of relevant information on these lists covering all aspects of Livecode...
cheers

Re: Forum for Web platform
Yes that would be a great thing to have a forum for the specific platform. Anyway, that is a good thing to check for some better information regarding this specific version. I thinks some web platform have their own forum.

The web server platform has its own forum at http://forums.on-rev.com/
You will need to register there to be able to see the topics.

Re: Forum for Web platform
Roundiver-- I'm new here as well. And I asked the same question when I got started.
I was told the "Interent" section of the forum would be the best place to post those questions.
I too and seriously considering the runtime option of web deployment. If I'm going to go through the trouble of convincing an people that downloading my executable is worth the effort, it would be just as easy to convince the to download the LiveCode runtime. And that would save me all the complexity of having to install three different executables-- one each-- for Windows, Mac, and Linux.
You've got a good point though-- considering RunRev is short for Runtime Revolution, and the runtime has been the predominant form of web deployment, you would think that there would be a separate Forum section for Runtime Web Deployment, at least since all the new people are going to ask the same question anyway.
