Handling pencil and brush in mobile

Has anyone tried choosing the pencil/brush tools and applying them to an img?

If so, any suggestions on the best way to handle switching back to the browse tool?

Mine gets stuck due to the touch interface. Also, tool behavior isn't exactly what is expected...

Any suggestions?

paint tools are officially not (yet) supported on iOS!
