A couple of years ago I asked this question and no solution. I see that there are a lot of PDF to TEXT, DOC, XLS...etc. on the market recently and am thinking this can be done now.
I need to download PDF and convert it to text and use the data. I am using one of the third party apps to do it but its another step and if I could automate it with runrev it would be optimal.
Thanks for the replies.

Re: Import PDF to Text
Hi Mike,
Download the binaries at the bottom of http://www.foolabs.com/xpdf/download.html. They contain the pdftotext command line utility for quite a few platforms. Just get the command line utility and throw everything else away and see if you can get it working.
Best,
Maerk
