revMobile on iPhone - what's the verdict RunRev staff?

Post by el_stupido » Fri Apr 23, 2010 3:17 am

you've seen the new Ts and Cs.

you've seen Adobe bow out (less than gracefully) of the Flash to native iPhone app

what's the verdict for revMobile and the i [Phone | Pod | Pad] ???

Is there a way? Can we get round the Ts and Cs?

Since Unity, Monotouch, etc haven't heard anything either -- it's early yet.

If Apple didn't bend to Adobe, I doubt they are going to bend to Unity or RunRev. I think at this point its Objective C or program for another platform.

Hello,

I think RunRev has to continue to develop his RevMobile for the reason, Jobs says NO to AppStore, but also say Apple authorize to develop on Iphone/Ipad with others tools, but for private applications only.
For me Private Application means, we have all the business market which is open, a lot of company will use Iphone and Ipad, and it's a great opportunity for us to develop business applications.
Don't forget with OS4, we will have possibility to transfer application by wireless without AppStore !

Cheers, Fabrice

What's going to happen to the RevMobile 2010 conference now? That was an expensive BETA that, in hindsight, I'm glad I didn't get.
