UpgradeBrowser in widget browser

Hi,
Not sure if this is the Forum to ask.
I made a stack that uses a widget browser.
This browser is Chrome 74
I need to update it because of security issues I can not access the website I previously was using.
Any thoughts?

Hello John,

Is that on Windows? Which version of LC are you using?

We updated the version of CEF (this is used in the browser widget on Windows) in LC 9.6.13 - so I suggest you use this version.

thanks for the reply.
I am using windows 10, LiveCode 10 dp 5
I just tried 9.6.13. Did not help. Must be something i am doing?
I can log into the website with Chrome, but not the Widget Browser.
Is there a way to send Java commands to a browser other than using the Widget browser? Can Livecode open a browser and then interact with it?
If so, could you point me in the direction to go. Thanks.

Change Livecode vesions - LC 9.6.13.
Still unable to log in to webpage.

Thanks for the suggestion.
Tried and still no joy.
Will keep trying.
I think it has something to do with the webpage not accepting the security of the browser in LiveCode but does so with Chrome, Edge, etc
