image handling

Post by e3di » Wed Jan 27, 2010 11:20 pm

Hi,

I am new to Rev Studio, moving over from director. I am trying to build an app for a client with a front page of images that can be clicked on to go to another page. This is of course pretty straight forward and I have already done it. However the client wants to be able to change these front page images themselves and then use/send out the revised version of the app without going through me each time. To do this I can see two options, firstly, I create a hidden 'edit' page where the client can load up new images and then save the new config to a file, this would then update the front page. Or secondly create some type of text file that the client can edit which would change the images.

My problem is I am struggling to do either of these. I have trawled the forum and the tutorials but don't seem to be able to find out how to do it.

I was wondering if anyone could give a me a little help/guidance or for that matter alternative ideas.

Thanks very much.

Neil
