PolyGrid – A new way to display data in Livecode

Heya prometheus,

While this sounds interesting, there are a few things I thought you should know.

1. It didn't open in community, so I am guessing at least an Indy license is necessary, if that is the case, you might want to let the potential user know that before going to download it, otherwise the unsuspecting user gets a nice error from Lc "this stack is corrupted..."

2. When I did open it, and clicked on the various 'populate' buttons, nothing changed ? (Linux, Lc 9.6.1)

When this goes, your really gonna see something ~!

3. you might want to correct the spelling of the file name from PolyGird to PolyGrid



As I said though, interesting idea, it does sound to me like a much needed control halfway between a simple table field and a datagrid

Looks very promising but does not work on macOS currently.

The current version its working now for Linux,windows and mac, tank you all.

Working on 'nix far as I can tell, all that is left is to tell (potential) down-loaders that it doesn't work with community, and correcting the file name issue.

Seems to be very responsive and comprehensive, and I can think of at least 3 post threads it would have made a lot easier to code with that colored background part, nice job !

Probably because the demo stack is passwort protected.

Sorry folks, we had to password protect the stack to keep a controlled test, it will be available to all of LC editions soon
