strange display of a .mov external file in player control

Hi All,
I use a player to display a .mov external file. LC 9.6.0 stable)
All is nice with pointer tool but once i choose browser tool image is distorded.

Is there a way to avoid this ?

I'm just guessing, but since QuickTime has been deprecated maybe a different video format would work better.

MOV is just another container like MKV, question is, what CODEC does the video use?
