Hi all.
I've a big problem with the "flip" command.
With some images It causes an immediate crash of Revolution on every platform I use it.
Can someone say me why?
Here is a link to an image causing the problem:
Bye-

Well, I can imagine that your Mac crashes, if it has to process too many of those images :)

Sorry, I'm not really sure to have understood what d'u mean.
Anyway I've only ONE image in my stack.
And only ONE image I try to flip.

Buogiorno Giovanni,
I tested this on my Mac (MacMini, OS X 10.6.1, Rev 3.5 and Rev 4) with the image you supplied and could flip horzontal and vertical without any problems.
So there must be something else that will cause your troubles/crashes.
Best
Klaus

Klaus, Giovanni,
The picture is just awful. Many people are horrified by such an exposure. Giovanni, please, keep that in mind next time and give us a warning so we're prepared for the shock.
Best,
Mark

Hi Klaus, Giovannic had put a link on his post before he edited to delete it. I was in a bit of a rush today running through the sites I use a lot, Rev Forum being one of them. I quickly read the post, clicked on the link and was presented with a picture of a naked woman. In my rush, I didn't investigate any further and instantly assumed he was spamming.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
Apologies to Giovannic (I now see you have over 20 posts); I'm sure the naked woman was artistically used and in my haste I thought it was pornsplography.

First of all excuse me if I reply only now. I was busy. sorry
Then, EXCUSE ME for the misunderstanding.
I've uploaded my image on a non-secure upload site.
But I didn't know it. In the upload page there were no signs of problems
(perhaps thanks to noScript addon in Firefox!!! I suggest it to u! LOL).
When I read the first answer to my post I replied, then visiting my link I've understand the problem and deleted the link.
Another time, SORRY for this.
Then, about my problem (yes, MY image is this with the dentist scene, not so horrible XD XD) I really don't know what's the problem.
Flipping it on a brand new mainstack it work fine but on my work it crash without any possibility to debug the error.
I'll continue to investigate.
TY for ur replies. Bye-
PS: I've uploaded the image on ImageShack hoping that they does not decide to change their advertisement policy!!! LOL
