From the LC dictionary for 'visual effect'

Code: Select all

-- MacOS only.
visual effect "CIPageCurlTransition" slow with Angle 1.0 and Radius 70 and Extent "30,30,300,300"
go next card
and

under effectname
curl up|down: (iOS only)
Of course these are only for mac and iOS.

NO, that is not "it".

1. "Bad" back to the page being 'turned'.

2. No chance for the end-user to "grab" the corner and effect the turn.

Just wondering, I don't suppose there is a page curl effect in one of Hermann's nifty stacks, maybe farming out to ImageMagic?

This could help you started:

By the way, Livecode could rotate images but not rectangles, so
you will need to use many polygon graphics for the masking effect.

It is conceivable to make a
It is perfectly possible to make fantastic page-curl effects outwith LiveCode . . .

. . . I'm just crazy insofar as I want to do it inwith LiveCode. 8)

Mind you, this is a bit odd:
final product can be traded as a vivified GIF which can be separated into its constituent edges
¿¿¿ an animated GIF which can be separated into its constituent frames ???

Who said 'Google Trashlate' ?

Something is suspicious about 'FIDEL' but it could be just
that s/he has crappy English; which in and of itself is nothing shameful. :D
