YouTube Grabber Thread

Okay, so now here's the very first release of YouTube Grabber, a simple downloader for YouTube videos of course, from YouTube.com. This is only a RevBeta release (I just made that word up), it means that it's only available to this forum of Runtime Revolution. Feedbacks feedbacks. I know the interface is UGLY but feedbacks about the functionality of the program is really nice to get. Post it on this thread. This has been tested on a Windows XP unit.

I just need to confirm if this project is plausible at other Windows platforms. After that, a Mac release is going to come up.

I THINK IT WORKED, but i have no understanding of what it opened up, all sorts of things, i have no idea what any of it was.
so i guess it worked, but i would DEFINATELY wait until someone on here with much much much more knowledge popped in for a look.

If you know about YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/) then you're fine, the program basically downloads a video from a YouTube url that you put into the text box. I didn't work on the interface yet that's why the only thing you can see is the text input box, the Load button and a browser object.

Oh and I also forgot, from time to time, I'm online on Yahoo! Messenger and/or Skype. If you need to contact me through Yahoo! Messenger (in case you're too lazy to post in the forums, send an IM to shadow.slash. For Skype, you can use shadowslash01.

Seems to work fine. A setting for a default location would be nice, so you don't have to browse through folders each time. But otherwise, seems to work quite well.

Excuse me to ask a silly question : if you don't intend to sell this piece of software, in one way or another... why don't you just upload the stack, so people can educate themselves ?
