LiveCode 9.0 Indy on Windows 10 gives me grey background

LiveCode 9.0 Indy Edition on Windows 10 gives me a full grey background.
I thought that was by design but after installing it on another Win 10 laptop there was no gray background.

Is this a setting I am not aware off?

Go to "View" menu.

Then remove "Backdrop".


(no shame : i had exactly the same issue on Windows 10... I thought "oh well, another bug".. and then went along with it. Until I found the explanation...)
