After moving to LiveCode Community 8.1.2 from LiveCode 5.5.5, I am no longer able to save an updated version of a tool I use for my job as a standalone app that functions. Platform is Max OSX.
On most attempts a standalone is "successfully" created. The main (splash) stack opens but that stack has only one button on it which on mouseup should open the substack wherein lies all the functionality of the app. When I click the button in the 8.1.2 version of the standalone it simply does not open the substack. Nothing happens. On other attempts, Save As Standalone Application produces a raft of error messages.
Any suggestions for getting the 8.1.2 standalone, the 5.5.5 version of which works flawlessly, to work?
One difference I have noted is that when I save the main stack it lists the ask and answer dialog inclusions as substacks it is also saving. In the 5.5.5 version the ask and answer dialogs do not seem to be treated as substacks and do not appear on the list of substacks being saved when the main stack is saved. Related to this, I now find that even though both the main stack and most important substack for this app have "set the destroystack of this stack to true" triggered by the OpenStack message, the ask and answer dialogs are not destroyed when I close the app in the IDE. Hence when I subsequently open other apps I get a message that the ask and answer dialog stacks are in memory creating a conflict.
These are the inclusions I have selected for both the 5.5.5 standalone which functions and the 8.1.2 standalone which does not.
Ask Dialog
Answer Dialog
Cursors
Script Libraries:
Database
Geometry
Internet
Printing
Database Support:
MySQL
Help! What adjustments to I need to make to save this standalone in 8.1.2, and what do I need to do to stop the answer and ask dialogs from hanging around in memory after I close the app in the IDE.
Very frustrating that a standalone that worked for years cannot be updated. Thanks in advance.

Re: 8.1.2 standalone save failure
In case it helps, this is the raft of error messages I get on some attempts to create this standalone.
