LC 8 - moving objects in Project Browser

The project browser now seems to be the only place where one can move around and/or group/ungroup objects, but this process does not seem to work as well as it did in LC 7.

When moving objects, it is difficult to see where the object is intending to move to, and it also places the object in incorrect locations/groups. Often I'm forced to try move an object more than 3 times before it ends up in the place I want it.

Please make it more like it was in LC 7, the current Project Browser seems very buggy.

I totally agree with Scoperzor in that the LC 8 Project Browser is in urgent need of revamping. Looking through the forums, it seems that the problem with the Project Browser has been talked about for about a year.

Because I use png files for just about everything in my apps (imho, the buttons and fields are greatly lacking in aesthetic attractiveness), the ability to arrange my objects by name, layers, ID, and make visible/invisible, as I can do in LC 7 is extremely important to me.

If anybody knows of a way I can use the LC 7 "project browser" in LC 8, I would appreciate knowing how to do that. Otherwise, I still have the need to use LC 7.

It would be helpful to post the bug report numbers for the issues you've reported so others here can follow their progress. LC 8 is very much in development, and your bug reports will help ensure the final release is rock-solid.

the issues with the project browser in LC 8 needs to be addressed soon as it is impacting dev time. Can not copy and move objects. Sometimes it works, but most of the time it does not.

Do you have the ID numbers of the reports you submitted? I'd like to help triage those if I can.
