Installing an Update

Post by RossG »

Should I install LC 7.1.1 over LC 7.0.1 or
delete the old version first?

Each installation goes into its own folder. Removing them is entirely your own choice, as they do not normally interfere with one another.

Tried to install LC 7.1.1 on partition G: but the installer
puts "G:\\LiveCode..." into the destination field so naturally
can't install.

Why isn't the destination field editable as with all
other Win installers?

Big raspberry to those responsible.

Hi Ross,

isn't the button at the right side of that namely field functional?

Yes, the button works and I can choose drive G:\
but then the installer adds an extra "\" for some
reason.
