Arm64 Error Failed with Coretext

Post by tyarmsteadBUSuSfT »

I am getting the attached error when attempting to build a standalone. I am using Indy 7.1.1 (rc)
Linking for arm64 failed with id: framework not found CoreText clang: error Linker command failed
with exit code 1 (use-v to see invocation. I don't understand what that means.
Thank you
Ty

Hi tyarmstead,

Can you double check that your command line tools location is set within Xcode as this can sometime become erased during Xcode update. This preference can be found within Xcode under "Preferences--->Locations"

This setting must be populated as LiveCode requires Xcode command line tools for iOS builds

Kind Regards,

That worked, but know I am getting codesigning error. So I am going to look at my provisioning profiles or do you recommend deleting and generating all new provisioning profiles?
Thank you
Ty

Hi Ty,

When i experience any codesign errors, its generally down to an expired certificate in my keychain.

To be certain, I would delete all certificates/profiles from your system (backup first though) and re-download these from your Apple developer account.

Kind Regards,

Neil Roger
