Linux Video Capture

It looks like the Windows version has video capture, as demonstrated by one of the sample applications. The notes say that video capture is not currently supported for Linux / Unix.

Any plans for this any time soon? Thanks.

Hi,

I noticed the lack of reply and thought I'd try to help. I have some experience with recording video using firewire cameras under Linux, but no Rev experience with doing this. You could try using Rev to control an external program to do the recording.

You could try Coriander. Or try Kino.
