Help with a certain type of button

I need help making a button that returns you to the last card you were viewing and then over again. there was a button in hypercard that looked like a bent arrow that would take you to the previous cards you viewed but I'm having trouble coming up wityh a script. the bent arrow button could retrace you to the last 30 cards you looked at

Check out "recentCards" in the dictionary, hmm looks like "recent" does much the same thing.
Ahh but recentCards is a list.
