Open files THIS way

Hello, I'm new here in this forum and I've got a question!

Is it possible with RunRev to open a file via such a window instead of typing the file path using the ask command (that's the way I did it before, very nastyâ€¼):

(Sorry, it's in German, but you know what I mean, don't you?)

well, looks like you mixed "ask file..." with "answer file..."!
"ask file..." is used for a "Save" dialog, where the user can enter a name for a new file!

What you are looking for is "answer file..." will give you the following in the variable IT:
1. the complete path to the file the user has chosen
2. nothing = empty, if the user clicked "cancel"

Check the dovs for "ask file" and "answer file"
