Not sure how you define successful… but, I have over 15 million downloads from the Apple App store… all made with LiveCode. If this link doesn’t go through… search on Classroom Focused Software on the Apple App Store.

good stuff guys, really interesting... hope people will post more!
Has there ever been an apple-style (annual) "design awards" competition? Not only would this be of interest to people curious about LC but would probably inspire many.
Even XOJO has an annual competition and i'm always curious to see what can be done. Check out
this year's awards (i actually use
RegExRX and would agree it does really deserve a dev award!)
Would love to see something like this with LC...

To be clear, i didn't name the original thread!
Rather than 'really successful' i would say software
you're proud of - for me that's a better measure...

I agree. I should have omitted the 'you' and said "how successful is defined."

I'm proud of this one, done for a client:
https://thinkingstrings.com/
Four platforms supported, user base somewhere in the six figures. Some of the modules were extremely challenging.

I'm pretty happy with my Exif Fixer app, created to solve a common metadata problem that prevents Facebook (and Google, Flickr, etc.) from recognising 360 panoramic images as interactive things. It now has its own domain
https://exiffixer.com where it runs as a (simpler) server app as well as offering the downloadable Mac/Win/Linux apps, although most of the world still links to the original still-maintained location on one of my other domains.

It's currently running at around 80k downloads, and it's used by the Facebook 360 team.

Thanks guys - was really keen to see what people are creating with LC, some nice examples here that complement the showcased apps on the mothership's website. Would like to see more!
I do think it would be a good idea to have a forum section where people can post links to their published apps, it would raise awareness and inspire more... not sure what everyone else thinks?
