No one knows for sure who you are on the internet. 
But i have always talked of her as a "she", and she never corrected me.
I have heard somewhat of a retraction of that news post, but of course nothing is final until she writes that to her site. I will ask her to remove it, or clarify it, when she comes to the chat next time.
