What about a federation of users:
Some of us program for Android, some program for Windows, and some for iOS. What would be wrong with passing the LiveCode file to another member of the federation for generation and saving as the stand alone app for the preferred platform? It would still mean for iOS the fees would have to be paid, but it would address other issues.
