Not a trivial question at all, IMO. While the set of uses cases where SFTP is ideal may be few, one of my apps is indeed among them, so I'd like to see this implemented. But for most folks there are alternatives which may be at least as good, some perhaps even better than using SFTP. Hopefully at least one of those I outlined will do what you need.
