I'm leaning towards mergAct or mergAction. function names would be mergAct[ion]Sheet mergAct[ion]Menu

mergCCCP fits!

But, my vote would go for arkstar's suggestion mergPop

Your mergAction also makes sense to me, the function names fit well and leave room for future updates, they are easy to remember and easy to type.

Yep, I like mergPop too. mergPopSheet, mergPopMenu seems to work. Still keeping it open though.
