Yes, Enterprise is still in the product line, as far as I know. Granted, it is barely mentioned on the website and not really mentioned on the forums.

I assume RunRev is considering it to be the same as studio, or just a superset of studio options, so they didn't create a separate forum or page on the website.

I would think they should say Studio/Enterprise to make this clear and not make Enterpise customers feel like we are being left out.

Peter,

Do you work for RR or are you associated with RR?

Just curious because I was also hoping for a response from RR on this matter.

I think Enterprise customers deserve a forum and should not have been left out of this.

Enterprise also needs to be mentioned prominately on the main site of RR.

No, I do not work for RR nor am I associate with them.

I agree that Enterprise also needs to be mentioned prominately on the RR site.

I'm not sure a completely separate forum is needed, however, since Studio and Enterprise are essentially the same; Enterprise just comes with a cross-platform license of the IDE and additional database drivers. I think these topics are adaquately covered in the other forums (databases, etc).

If the product differentiations don't warrant a separate forum, at least renaming the Studio/Enterprise forum as such would clarify things.

The ommission of Enterprise from here and most of runrev.com may seem odd to those who come looking for professional tools....

I can see that it may not be needed to have a separate forum for each and it would make sense if the descripter was changed then to "Studio/Enterprise".

I think it would clarify things a lot unless there 'is' something else going on that I don't know about.

Revolution Enterprise is and will remain an important part of the product line.

It would be redundant to add a forum purely for Enterprise since it is indeed mainly a superset of Studio. However, changing the name of the forum to include Enterprise seems sensible, I'll see what can be done,

Regards,

Heather

Thank you for the clarification, Heather. It's comforting to hear that the product that launched the company, and that most of my clients use, is still valued there.

You've proven yourself time and again, so I'm glad to be able to trust your good work at making the value of Enterprise more evident here and at runrev.com.
