Sure!
I even remember "MetaCard", I started with MC in 1999. :)

I discovered MetaCard in 2001, having landed in Scotland after 2 years of Toolbook and Windows 2000.

A week later I discovered Runtime Revolution, which was a breath of fresh air after MetaCard.

And for about 10-12 years we got along very well indeed: but, about 10 years ago things went a bit sour.

Great pity really: probably 50% my fault, and 50% . . .

Whatever!

Happy Birthday.

Without RunRev-LiveCode, OXT and so on would never have been possible. 8)

The original claim in the email is that the team shipped Typing Tutor 30 years ago.

At that time the company was called Crossworlds, and was also beginning on their MetaCard IDE.

As the popularity of the IDE grew, the company changed the name to focus on that product. It's likely the vesting of RunRev Ltd which is the "1997" bit.
