LiveCode on a Tablet
I'd be willing to purchase a tablet where I can use Livecode. Is anybody using LiveCode directly on a tablet? Which one? Which OS? How is it going?
And yet annother question: is LC still developing versions for the Raspberry Pi?

Maybe asking here is a better idea: https://forums.livecode.com/viewforum.php?f=76

Re: LiveCode on a Tablet
As far as I know:
- -
LiveCode is ONLY available for desktop computers and laptops, and the Windows versions
of LiveCode don't work on Windows tablets.

Re: LiveCode on a Tablet
I am not positive, of course, but I don't believe it is possible to use Lc on a tablet if your talking about the IDE for programming.
As for the IDE on Pi, I think the last version to support that was
LiveCode 7.0.4

Aww, buck up little camper, it isn't as bad as all that now, 7.0.4 is (*I* think) one of the better of the later IDE's

Re: LiveCode on a Tablet
LiveCode deploys to most tablet (Android and iOS), but there is no single-window IDE as would be required for those OSes.

By "deploys" I understand you to mean "You can generate finished apps for those platforms," and NOT "You can program apps on those platforms."

I'm not Richard, but I bet THAT is his point!

No, you are not.
I made that observation NOT for Richard's benefit (after all, he knows his own mind), but for
the benefit of the OP.
Let us not forget that phrase such as "single-window IDE" can throw newbies into the left field.
Identical Doubtful Edibles?
Incidental Dangerous Energies?
By the way; what does 'IDE' really stand for?

That, Klaus, was a dangerous remark, as "someone" might see it as a challenge.
