Loads of rubbish . . .
Why doesn't system date return Sontag?
Because that is THE INTERNET DATE, sigh...

THE INTERNET DATE, sigh
That doesn't really help: neither the Internet date, nor the 'sigh'. 8)

Personally, I'd like a program on any system domiciled to any country/language,
to be able to provide the date in any other language.

I think I tried to force a connection between your quote and your actual question, which was not there...

I tend to like using the internet date for all kinds of things, because for the most part, its already split into word chunks, so its easy to move them around. Don't think it would help in the situation your in though Klaus, otherwise you'd have already figured out the solution long before I came along and explained it to Krueml (just a guess on my part though).
