Trouble with behaviors

Am I missing something?

I am trying to write modular code using behaviors. For reasons not apparent to me I can get behaviors to work in the IDE but seemingly the link cannot be saved. Every time I open and close the stack containing the button with the behavior, the link to the button containing the behavior is lost. Is there a way to retain the link?

How bizarre - it seems to be working now. This time I set the behavior using the message box rather than typing in the box - maybe that's the difference but the behavior is now saved and working properly - great.
