'LiveCode Enhancements' - silent updates...?

Hi all,
with the megabundle we get access to "LiveCode Enhancements" - some elements of which are more problematic than others (not sure any of the elements are without issues) and understandably are being optimised with time.
My problem is that there is no notification (by email or otherwise) when an update is posted. I literally have to log on to my account page, navigate to "Third party" -> LC enhancements and then check to see the release date and version number to make sure it's actually a new version
At least I see they include a change log as of 2 versions ago... but documentation is still very lacking. For example: the latest version of the PolyList widget now has a new content type called "progress". If I set an item to this content type, it instantly generates and error "value type is not correct".
I have no doubt that I'll eventually understand what it wants - but given that this is a paid product, is this really acceptable?
Am I missing something here? Is it just me having these issues or are LC operating on a 1988 level of delivering updates?
