What was lost, now is found

So odd.

9.6. Mac OS 10.15.7.

About three weeks ago, the entire VERY useful "Apply" "menubar", disappeared:

And now they all of a sudden are back. For those last three weeks, amid the usual griping, I had to save the stack I was working on in order to compile a change in the SE. The "Apply" button compiles with a click of the mouse without having to save the stack.

This rebirth only came up after the travail of the thread below was resolved.

My SE came fully back to life simply by twiddling with the SE font. Who knew?

I am doing just great right now, thank you, but am a bit nervous...

Just a side note for anyone that didn't know, the 'Enter' key also complies the script, whereas the 'Return' key doesn't. If you don't have an extended keyboard, then CMD-Return does the same, I assume that would be CTRL-Return on Win.

Since I learnt this tip from who knows where, I hardly ever use the 'Apply' button, but it's good to know that at least yours has reappeared along with the rest of it's neighbours. :)

Paul.

Certainly, and good to remind everyone. I often am working the cursor within the SE, and just go up and click that button instead of hitting enter. I learned somewhere long ago, "if you are on the keyboard, stay on the keyboard. If on the mouse, stay on the mouse."

My issue is with strange behaviors, no pun intended, in my LC setup. Right now everything is back to normal.

It is those departures from normal that concern me.
