Stubborn problem with editmenus on mac

Hi
I am working to repair problems on the menus of a sub stack. Using the "set the editmenus of this stack to true" I can repair, and as long as I keep the menu-buttons visible in the stack window they perform as I want them to. But the moment I set the editmenus to false, and expect the changes to be realised in the mac-menu, they are not .
Any ideas of how I can work around this?
hopefully
Kresten

Hi.

Never had an issue with this, but I am languishing in v. 6.7. What LC version are you using? What Mac OS?

If this is reproducible the LC team would like to see the stack.

I find the Menu Builder works well.

Thank you for replying, but this is so different from what I get. I am (still) working in version 6.7.8 where I only get the group of menu buttons in the stack window, and have hesitated to download later versions, afraid to lose well working functionalities, or losing the freeware quality of my 6.7.8.

losing the freeware quality of my 6.7.8.
You will ALWAYS have "Freeware quality" with the Community version.

Hi.

So you are in much the same LC world as I am. I never have an issue with this property. Can you post a demo stack?

Thank you so much for your generous offer, but now I digged deeper into the problems I had, and actual found a solution via an older version, so I won't waste your time.
I have further problems with the standaloning of the stack, but will post those questions under a new label
best regards
