Why am I not able to build for HTML5 ? I sent support an email inquiring why, but still haven't received a response.

Oh, that is possible, but I don't know.shawnblc wrote:I thought as a Kickstarter VIP contributor HTML5 was part of the deal? Guess I was wrong.
And that doesn't make sense to me. VIPs contributed a great deal of money, and yet all of us are expected to give again and again and again. This was suppose to be a "Lifetime commercial license for all platforms". Several of us also contributed to the LC HTML5 campaign.Klaus wrote:Hi Shawn,

OTOH, the free community version CAN in fact export to HTML5!?
Don't ask me why...
As a VIP Contributor I don't feel expected to contribute to any other campaigns, nor did I expect to get everything from all future campaigns. I contribute to those that offer things relevant to me at the time. I've supported some, skipped others. There's no obligation to support all of them, or any of them.shawnblc wrote:VIPs contributed a great deal of money, and yet all of us are expected to give again and again and again.
...that existed at the time. I still have everything I signed up for. It never would have occurred to me that contributing to one project would entitle me to everything the team will ever release in the future. This was suppose to be a "Lifetime commercial license for all platforms".
Most of those contribution options included a license for HTML deployment. If yours did and it's not working in your version you should contact support to see what happened with that.Several of us also contributed to the LC HTML5 campaign.
I did, but haven't heard back yet. I contributed to both and HTML5 was suppose to be part of it.FourthWorld wrote:Most of those contribution options included a license for HTML deployment. The HTML5 crowd funding campaign would be the one that included HTML5. The earlier one happened before HTML5 output was even conceived as a product.shawnblc wrote:I contributed to both and HTML5 was suppose to be part of it.
Will do Simon. I'm sure support will add it back, luckily I had the email from Heather where it was included in my funding of the campaign and she added it back then. It just disappeared for some reason.Simon wrote:Hi Shawn,
Keep us updated on this as I thought I was supposed to get HTML as well.

Yeah, don't remind me... The San Diego conference was at the same time as HTML5 crowdfunding. I had to make the decision on which I should do. I even had a totally hot girl I could have stayed with down there...grrrr I chose funding.FourthWorld wrote:The HTML5 crowd funding campaign would be the one that included HTML5. Actually the lifetime commercial license I received from the Kickstarter was for all platforms now and in the future. I was not the only person who contributed at that level so I guess it applies to others as well. I also received the HTML5 as an addition to my license once it was released, but after I contacted support.FourthWorld wrote:[quote="shawnblc"
