I have made the attached stack as an example for a scrolling banner with a Title widget.
Just for fun I made a standalone application in Windows 8 of it and was surprised to see that the widgets in the stack do not work?
Are widgets OSX only or am I doing something wrong?
The stack is attached. Try to make an executable from it.
(Working with LC 8.0 (rc 1) on Windows 10)
If you find or have an answer please let me know because it is important for the applications I am working on.
Greetings,
Paul

Re: Widget does not work on Windows as standalone app
Hi Paul,
It doesn't look like you have included the widget via the copy files section of your standalone settings.
Make sure any used widgets are checked in the "extensions to use...." section and build the standalone again.
Kind Regards,
Neil Roger

Re: Widget does not work on Windows as standalone app
Thanks Neil,
That was the solution
Maybe a good idea to let the building process of the standalone application to do this for us. Should be possible.
