Revolution as a web plug-in?

Someone mentioned that there may be a flash-like plug-in of rev so that projects can be viewed on line without the arcane CGI approach.

Is this an April fools' joke or is there any veracity?

It will arrive at some point, but it is not there yet is what I understand.
