Card loading speed in v2.9 / pre load cards??

Im just working though v2.9 with our app and noticed the card loading speed seems to very slow.
For example, I have a stack which has about 10 cards on it, each for a different message I want to show to a user. Before I would simply use the go to card to show the card, and it would show, but now the previously loaded card shows for about half a second, then the one I want gets updated. (Mac OS if it makes any difference)
Is there any way to preload the card as I dont really want users to be shown the wrong card in the stack while waiting for revolution to swap to the right card.
